Canada has an established leadership role in open, distance and flexible higher education. Online and distance programs are available at all levels of education.
All online courses offered are accredited and recognized to grant credits towards pupils’ Ontario Secondary School Diploma, equivalent to an OSSD earned through a publicly funded secondary day school. These courses range across different subjects including English, Mathematics, Science, and many more.
The importance of technology in education is unavoidable now. Online education can be delivered using the Google Education platform. Google Education has revolutionized technology in the classroom, as well as collaborative learning. To provide students with greater flexibility, online courses can be asynchronous or synchronous. Asynchronous learning permits students to log in to their respective course(s) anytime, from anywhere. Student progress is closely monitored, and fluid communication between instructors, students, parents, and other members of staff is an integral component of the online delivery modal.
